We all know that, Virginia is a hotbed for metal (Lamb Of God, GWAR), and Virginia's, Saint Diablo, has added to that Virginia metal mystique. Their new album, "Devil Horns And Halos," is LEGIT! The music has amazing vocals, powerful riffage, bad ass drums, and a thumping and funky bass. "Devil Horns And Halos," is an album that pulls from many different influences and wraps them in a razor wire bow. Not only is the music killer, but the vocals and lyrics are emotional and powerful. Lead singer, Tito Quinones can take you on a roller coaster ride, and just like a roller coaster, you will run the full range of emotions when you listen to, "Devil Horns And Halos," and just like a roller coaster, once the ride is over you will want to ride again.
The title track is a metal thumper that will have you banging your fist, while the track, "Survive This," is an honest, heartfelt and emotional song (wait until Poot posts our interview with Tito this weekend and you can get the full story). These are just two examples of the diversity of music on this album. My favorite track on the album, "Adios En-Amigos," is an absolute beast, and on repeat at the Bro-Metal offices.
With a Bro-Metal rating of 9/10, Saint Diablo's "Devil Horns And Halos," is one of my favorite albums of 2015. So raise your devil horns you Bro-Metal angels and go get the album. -Bro
