Bro's "Six Pack" With Scare Tactics

It's time for another "Six Pack" (I may have a drinking problem at this point).  I had a chance to catch up with the guys from Scare Tactics.  These four dudes from Liverpool, UK are awesome!  We have been fans of the band since we started this little Bro-Metal "project."  They have two great new singles "Drunk Fuck" and "We Live."  Both are rocking' metal tracks and there is more music on the way.  Let's have another "six pack,"  this time with our buddies, Scare Tactics.

Bro:  Metal comes in many different forms.  How would you describe your style of metal?

Scare Tactics: We tend not to stick to any 1 style. If we would listen to it, we will run with it! It's mostly a mix of heavy rock with some more old school metal style guitar sounds and lots of multiple vocal harmonies.

Bro:  How did you get started as a band?

Scare Tactics: We were all in different bands a few years years ago and played the same circuit so we all knew each other pretty well. Andy and Stu are brothers too so that was handy. The bands we were in didn't really work out so we decided to start jamming together to see what happened. And here we are!

Bro:  I dig your two singles “We Live” and “Drunk Fuck” and listen to them a ton.  Are there any plans to release more music?

Scare Tactics: We are currently recording our first album, which for the moment doesn't have a title, but it will be have 11 tracks and we are hoping to have it ready to release in mid/late summer.

Bro:  All metal fans love hearing stories from the road.  What is your touring schedule like?  Any crazy stories from the road you want to share?

Scare Tactics: Honestly our touring schedule isn't as busy as we would like, we are looking to get on the road more once the album is ready and promote it on the road.

Bro: Cheesy question for each of you:  Who are your musical influences?

Scare Tactics: Lots! Pantera, Metallica, Tool, Devin Townsend, strapping Young Lad, Alice in Chains, Alterbridge, Rage Against the Machine, A Perfect Circle, Extreme, Racer X, Gojira... We could keep going for a good long time on this one!

Bro: Final question, what does Scare Tactics have in store for 2014 and beyond?

Scare Tactics: For 2014 our focus is on our Album and its promotion!

Thanks to Scare Tactics for having a sixer with me.  Go support this band!  Great guys that play great music.
